The South African Food Shop is your US source for traditional South African foods such as Biltong, Droewors and Boerewors and our meat products are all USDA approved. Our store in Matthews, NC is open to the public from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday and 10am to 3.00pm on Saturdays (Closed on Sundays)

We have a $20.00 MINIMUM product order requirement and should this not be met then the order will be rejected. We generaly ship orders 2 business days after being placed and perishable orders must be placed by Tuesday latest within the week to be delivered within the same week. Kindly refer to the Shipping Policy page prior to placing an order. Boerewors, Sausage Rolls and Meat Pies are perishable products and are ONLY shipped FedEx Overnight Air (PLEASE Do NOT select FedEx Ground, 2 Day Air or Priority Mail shipping when ordering any perishables as your order will have to be amended to Overnight Air shipping and this will cause delays in shipping. S & H for Overnight Air is a base rate of $30.00 then add $3.00 for each pound ordered (Kindly note that Overnight Air refers to the method of shipping and not when the order will be received) Please note that we do not accept any responsibilty for chocolate orders should there be a melt down while in transit during the hot summer months.
